Welcome to the Appalachian State Gaming Club's website. The ASU Gaming Club exists to promote gaming of all kinds including PC based gaming, console gaming, table-top games, wargaming, and any thing else you can think of! Every semester the club organizes numerous LAN parties and other social events. We have strived to upgrade our capacity to hold larger LANs, and now every LAN has over 100 PC seats and a score of consoles range from PS3s to Wii for free play and tournaments. Did we mention there's free pizza and soda? During the 2007-2008 school year, each LAN had attendence approaching 200 people and we gave away hundreds of dollars in tournament and door prizes. Every LAN is a little different! Even if you're not a club member--or even a student at App State--we're always happy to have you at our LANs. Driving directions can be found here.

Being a club member does have it benefits, however. A yearly due of $10 earns you the right to run for an officer position, vote in the officer elections, plenty of input on how each LAN should be organized and what tournaments will appear, smaller single-game LANs organized for club members, a $5 door fee (instead of $10) at every LAN that year, and the knowledge that you're helping us organize all of our events.
